In the residence we have a wide variety of spaces, all of them designed and adapted to meet residents’ needs. In addition to the study and work rooms, RUS has indoor and outdoor common areas for eating, laundry and relaxation, to which the resident has access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round. The dining room, recreational areas and facilities at Can Caralleu are subject to specific opening hours.

At Residència Universitària Sarrià we are at the resident's service 24 hours a day. Our reception team is available to offer 100% personalised care to all students and their families before, during and after their stay at the Residence.

The Residence has its own kitchen, without needing to outsource the service, which allows it to offer its residents varied and quality breakfasts, lunches and dinners from Monday to Sunday. Meals are served buffet style. This means residents can choose their favourite dishes from a wide variety for all tastes. The restaurant service is open all year round, except for lunches and dinners on 25, 26 December and 1 January, and the evenings of 24 and 31 December.

If residents cannot enjoy the catering service, due to conflicting schedules, work responsibilities or being away from the residence for most of the day, they may request the picnic service. This consists of a lunch box to take away with lunch perfectly packed, to be enjoyed anywhere. 

Late meal arrangement: book 45 min. before the end of the service.

We also offer a late lunch/dinner service for those residents who cannot arrive in time to adjust to the lunch and dinner times, by giving 30 minutes' notice before the end of the service.

The aim of the cleaning service is to ensure the hygiene, order and maintenance of the entire grounds of the residence. For this reason, all communal areas are cleaned daily. Residents' rooms are also cleaned twice a week, towels are changed twice a week and bed linen is changed once a week.

Residència Universitària Sarrià is a highly digitalised centre. Residents can enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi Internet connection in the all facilities.  In addition, the residence has a team specialised in technology and connectivity that ensures the equipment is working properly, as well as maintaining the facilities and computer systems.

A free daily newspaper service is available to all residents, as well as subscriptions to specialist magazines via the PressReader digital system. PressReader is a digital reading and interactive catalogue offering specialised and general content and is the perfect complement to traditional reading. This app can be easily used by simply being a resident and connecting to the Wi-Fi System in any area of the residence.

Residència Universitària Sarrià offers its residents the option to use Can Caralleu (a centre adjacent to the Residence) for free.

BiciRUS service

Residència Universitària Sarrià provides residents with bicycles for free in order to get around the city, to go to universities and for personal leisure. We also have specific mountain bikes designed to be used on the Carretera de les Aigües route or to ride through the Collserola Natural Park.

A university education does not end with the knowledge acquired academically. At RUS we specialise not only in study, but also in the personal development of our residents.  We, therefore, offer training courses and educational activities in different subjects, completely free of charge, throughout the academic year, which help residents to adapt to their new environment and interact with other residents
