These General Conditions regulate the acquisition of the products offered on the website WWW.RESIDENCIASARRIA.COM owned by RESIDÈNCIA UNIVERSITÀRIA SARRIÀ, SL (hereinafter, RESIDÈNCIA SARRIÀ)
The acquisition of any of the products entails full and unreserved acceptance of each and every one of the General Conditions indicated, without prejudice to the acceptance of the Specific Conditions that may be applicable when purchasing certain products.
These General Conditions may be modified without prior notice, therefore, it is advisable to read their content carefully before proceeding to purchase any of the products offered.
RESIDÈNCIA SARRIÀ, in compliance with Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, informs you that:
The services offered, along with their main characteristics and their price, appear on the screen.
RESIDÈNCIA SARRIÀ reserves the right to decide, at any time, the products and/or services offered to Clients. In this way, RESIDÈNCIA SARRIÀ may, at any time, add new products and/or services to those currently offered. Likewise, RESIDÈNCIA SARRIÀ reserves the right to withdraw or stop offering, at any time, and without prior notice, any of the services offered.
Once inside WWW.RESIDENCIASARRIA.COM and to access the contracting of the different services, the User must follow all the instructions indicated in the purchase process, which will entail reading and accepting all the general and particular conditions set out in WWW.RESIDENCIASARRIA.COM.
Once the place is confirmed, the deposit* must be made to guarantee it**. You will be informed of the deadline to do so. After this period, the Residence may offer the place to another applicant.

The expenses derived from the transfer of the deposit will be borne by the applicant. Indicate the name of the future resident in the concept and send proof of the transfer by email, postal mail or fax.
The deposit amount will be returned at the end of the reserved period. The refund of the deposit for full-course stays will be from July 28 and for other types of stay the transfers are effective on the fifteenth of each month once the 58-day period conditioned by the bank refund law has expired. This deposit is subject to the economic and regulatory conditions of permanence and behavior of the resident. This amount will not be refunded if the place is given up or the Residence Hall is abandoned early due to personal or disciplinary reasons, except in the event that the resident is not admitted to the requested university center. In this case, the request for “refund of the deposit” must be submitted in writing within ten days of being informed by the study center and always before September 1 (attaching proof from the university center where you have not been admitted).
If the departure date is advanced, the resident loses all rights to the place and entails the loss of the deposit and payments made. The withdrawal must be communicated in writing before the 15th of each month. Otherwise, you must pay the following monthly payment and also pay the current monthly payment. If it is delivered after departure, the date of delivery of the letter will be taken into account for payment purposes.
The reservation includes the dates from September 1 of the current year to June 28 of the following year. If you need to advance the arrival date and/or delay the departure date, it is essential to make an individual reservation for the specific days and the daily rate will be applied.
Payments of the monthly payments and the monthly parking fee will be made by direct debit on the 1st of each month into a Spanish bank account or account in a country that is part of the SEPA space. No payment will be made to the monthly payment if you leave the Residence before the end of the month. Failure to pay 2 monthly payments will result in the suspension of services by the Residence. The management costs that may be generated by the return of a receipt for each direct debit are the responsibility of the resident.
Extra expenses (photocopies, laundry, etc.) will be paid by direct debit on the 15th of each month.
Invoices are sent by email in JPG format to the email address indicated during registration. If you want physical invoices, you must notify the reception department.
Our prices are per person and month on a full board basis, just as the daily rate is per person and day on a full board basis. The current VAT rate will be applied to all rates and services.
The full board includes breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week and consists of an all-you-can-eat buffet, which consists of a grill, salad buffet, hot and side dish buffet, and dessert buffet. Dinner will not be served on the evenings of December 24 and 31. On December 25 and 26, as well as January 1, only breakfast will be served.
There is the possibility of applying for a SCHOLARSHIP. Documentation and information must be requested at the reception or consult our website.
The temporary absence of the resident does not imply any reduction in the monthly payment price.
Special conditions applied to short stays:
Stays of less than 2 months: the entire stay will be paid in advance.
Stays of 2 to 9 months: the deposit and monthly payments will be paid by direct debit to a Spanish bank account or account in a country that is part of the SEPA space.
The rates with VAT (10%) included, per month and person with full board seven days a week are: double room: €1,050.50; single room: €1,494.90; Shared double duplex room: €1,175.50.
The final prices of all services, along with their characteristics, offers, discounts, etc. are reflected in each of the services offered.
The VAT rate is 10% or 21% depending on the service.
Prices for services may vary at any time. In this case, the price to be applied will be the one in force on the date of placing the order. In any case, the final cost will be communicated to the client in the electronic purchasing process before he formalizes his acceptance.
To make any purchase, the customer must be of legal age.
In addition, it will be necessary for the client to complete the online registration form with the information necessary for contracting; data that in any case will be true, accurate and complete about their identity and that the client must expressly consent to by accepting the privacy policy and general conditions.
RESIDÈNCIA SARRIÀ may suspend, withdraw or partially or totally cancel the services subject to contracting at any time and without prior notice. The above provision will not affect those services that are reserved for registered users or that are subject to prior contracting and which will be governed by their specific conditions.
As established by the regulations, the consumer and user will have the right to WITHDRAW from the contract for a maximum period of 14 calendar days without having to indicate the reason and without incurring any costs, except those provided for in art. 107.2 and 108 of RD1/2007, of November 16, which approves the aforementioned text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users.
This right of withdrawal is not applicable to, among others:
