You can visit the residence any day of the week and on public holidays. Please make an appointment beforehand to ensure that a person from the admissions department can attend to you. Visits are personalised so that families and applicants can get to know the facilities and services and have any questions they may have answered. We recommend sending the documentation in advance and to allow some time for the visit and the personal interview.

Experience shows that sharing a room, at least in the first year, makes it easier to get to know other students and to feel more supported. If you do not know anyone and do not know who to share with, the residence will assign you a roommate, taking into account your studies, courses, preferences, similarities, etc. Living together is part of the residence’s philosophy and we try to make it as pleasant as possible for each resident.

Each room is fully furnished, so, initially, only the personal belongings of each resident and a towel to use in the Can Caralleu sports centre are necessary. The residence provides bed linen and towels for the room and changes them every week: towels twice a week and bed linen once a week.

The monthly fee includes accommodation, cleaning, and the changing of towels and sheets, all breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, WIFI Internet, use of all common areas of the Residence (study room, work room, cinema, music, computers, etc.), daily press and subscription to specialized magazines, access to Can Caralleu sports facilities, 24-hour reception, and activities for all residents.

Not included in the monthly fee are black and white and color photocopies and prints, car parking, motorcycle parking, electric vehicle charging, self-service laundry tokens or personalized laundry service, electric motorcycle rental, tutoring or language classes, vending service, or the express bus to the universities in Sant Cugat.

Each academic year, Residència Universitària Sarrià offers 9 scholarships of 10% of the monthly fee and a special scholarship of a higher amount, for those university residents who need financial aid. In order to apply for these scholarships, those interested must complete the application process found on the website.
